Nov. 16, 2016: Our students had a wonderful opportunity to experience the Wyland Foundation’s Clean Water Mobile Learning Experience. The Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center provides a way to increase student knowledge of the function of watersheds and a broader understanding of the impact that communities have on these systems and our ocean.
Upon entering the mobile learning center, students became new recruits to the Clean Water Challenge (CWC) Task Force. Their mission: To solve mysterious disturbances in the health of our nation’s water habitats via a 4D theater experience and hands-on science activities. The mobile learning center aligns with the Wyland Foundation’s “Clean Water for the 21st Century” classroom and Newspaper in Education programs.
