  • Parents and Guardians of Abbott Students:

Today, I talked to all students during their lunch hours about cell phones.  Beginning tomorrow, students will no longer be able to use cell phones in the building during school hours.  While we understand that some parents want students to bring cell phones to school for the purpose of communicating after school, students will need to put their phones in their lockers immediately upon entering the building in the morning.  Cell phones will not be used in any class for any purpose.  The staff and I appreciate your support with this, as cell phones have become our #1 distractor from students learning in class.  As always, if you need to get a hold of your student during school hours, please call the office at (248)865-3670.  Thank you.
